The people who design the clothes we love tend to share something we notice only once we've been wearing their work a while: restraint.
They build wardrobes instead of moments. They finish a hem well. They pick two colours where someone else would pick six. They trust the fabric.
What we pay attention to
- Line — does it fall well when you're moving, not just standing still?
- Finish — stitches, edges, the inside of a seam.
- Repeat-wear — would you reach for it on a Tuesday as willingly as a Saturday?
We'll keep sharing the names we come back to. The list is short on purpose.
